Chenjerai Hove lives in Gweru with his family. Before becoming literary editor he taught at several secondary schools whilst studying for a degree in Education and English. His war poems in Up in Arms won him fame as a new voice on the literary scene at home and abroad. He is widely involved in numerous literary activities and has published English and Shona poems.
